Fisherman:
All San Carlos tournaments require fishing
licenses for all anglers and you will be asked for the license number at
registration. While licenses are usually available at tournament
registration, it is best to get licenses in advance if at all possible
to avoid waiting in line at registration. See our
fishing regulations page for sources and
current rates.

Mexican law
requires fishing licenses. These may be checked by officials at the Weigh
Station and if you do not show proof of having same, you may be subject
to a fine.
This is a lure-only event-no
live or dead bait permitted. Billfish are catch and release only. Fishing
